The Division of Trading and Markets is currently seeking to hire an SK-16 Market Fellow, for the Office of Market Supervision (OMS) in either Washington, DC or New York, NY. The senior industry expert candidate will provide technical advice and assistance relating to the implementation of the consolidated audit trail (CAT) being developed by the self-regulatory organizations (SROs). This will be a term positions not to exceed two years, but may be extended for an additional two years (potential candidates will be hired on a 2 year basis --extendable to 4 years maximum). This position will report to the Associate Director in the Office of Market Supervision (OMS). Typical duties Include:Among other duties, the individual selected will be responsible for:Coordinating user requirements across divisions and offices at the CommissionServing as a central point-of-contact between Commission staff and (a) the self-regulatory organizations (SROs) and (b) the entity that will be selected by the SROs to build and operate the CAT; andProviding advice and technical assistance to senior Commission staff with respect to the CAT initiativeKey Requirements/Experience:This position is open to US Citizens AND persons lawfully admitted for permanent residence and seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a)(3)(B)Occasional travel is requiredCandidates must have Five (5) or more years of experience with databases and the implementation of large and complex trading technology projects;Five (5) or more years knowledge of trading systems, regulatory and surveillance systems at the SROs or broker-dealers and;Five (5) or more years of experience with trade systems architecture, data management and methodologies, (and/or) enterprise reporting solutions...
