The company is privately held, has been in business for 50+ years, is very profitable and has never laid-off an employee. The Security Engineer will be responsible for administering and utilizing various security tools and solutions. The Security Engineer will spend 70 of their time utilizing and maintaining technical security solutions and tools and 30 of their time performing non-technical security analyst responsibilities. Technical Security Engineer (70) (Hiring Manager understands that a Security Engineer will not have experience with all security areas and technologies) Vulnerability Scanners SIEM Security event logging monitoring analyzers IDSIPS Intrusion DetectionPrevention System Anti-virus administration Incident Response Security Analyst (non-technical) 30 Perform security and risk assessments of critical systems. Make recommendations and action plans on these assessments. The company is privately held, has been in business for 50+ years, is very profitable and has never laid-off an employee. The Data Center Operations Administrator will responsible for monitoring the infrastructure and maintaining 100 up time of the mission critical 24X7X365 Operations, including a NetApp SAN. The Data Center Operations Administrator will be responsible for the timely detection of problems, the interpretation and analysis of the problems and contacting and coordinating with the appropriate technical staff to resolve the problem. The Data Center Operations Administrator will define and create current Production Operational procedures, processes and standards and develop and test Disaster Recovery Systems. The Data Center Operations Administrator will apply system analysis techniques when troubleshooting system outages and or service degradation situations. The Data Center Operations Administrator will be responsible for interacting with Windows Administrators, SQL DBArsquos, .NET Developers and Management, as well as non-technical teams within the company. The Data Center Operations Administrator will be responsible for creating and implementing improved monitoring processes and procedures, expanding and enhancing the utilization SCOM and Nagios. The company is running 100+ Windows 2008R2 servers on IBM and Dell hardware running SQL Server database servers. The servers are supporting .NET development environments. The company is running a NetApp SAN, VMware vSphere for server virtualization and Citrix XenDesktop for desktop virtualization. The company is utilizing SCOM, CA and Nagios for monitoring. The company is running Symantec for Virus and Malware protection. The Data Center Operations Administrator reports to the Data Center Operations Manager.
